Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)

We are excited to announce our Remote Patient Monitor (RPM) program administered by Rhythm Management

What is RPM?

RPM monitoring provides services to you outside of our clinic by offering you access to home blood pressure monitors that transmit data directly to your physician.

How Does It Work?

The monitors are shipped directly to your home and do not need to be connected to your home Internet. The blood pressure monitor will record your readings and transmit them to Rhythm Management where a dedicated nurse will receive and review you readings and contact you directly if any of the readings are abnormal.

Why Should I Do This?

There is absolutely no requirement to participate in the program. Remote monitoring helps keep track of your blood pressure readings and can provide extra information to you and your doctor that can help make decisions regarding your health. Choosing not to utilize RPM services will not hinder our ability to provide you the excellent care that you deserve and we expect.

What Does it Cost?

Depending on your individual health plan cost will vary. While the equipment is provided to you at no cost there is an ongoing copay that will be due each month you remain in the program. Before registering to receive RPM services Rhythm Management will do an insurance verification that will provide you an idea of out of pocket cost. Typical cost for a Medicare patient with a supplemental policy is around $15-$20 a month.
